Investment Casting

Investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting, is a manufacturing process used to create intricate and precise metal components.

Process:

1.Wax pattern creation
2.Ceramic shell formation
3. Wax removal
4. Metal pouring
5. Cooling and removal
6. Finishing

Sand Casting

Sand casting is a metal casting process that involves creating a mold from sand, pouring molten metal into the mold, and then allowing the metal to solidify.

Process
1. Pattern making
2. Mold preparation
3. Mold assembly
4. Melting and pouring
5. Solidification
6. Mold removal

Iron Casting

Investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting, is a manufacturing process used to create intricate and precise metal components.

Process
1. Wax pattern creation
2. Ceramic shell formation
3. Wax removal
4. Metal pouring
5. Finishing

Die Casting

Die casting is a metal casting process that is characterized by forcing molten metal under high pressure into a mould cavity.

Process for pressure die casting
1. Mold preparation
2. Metal melting
3. Metal injection
4. Solidification
5. Mold opening and ejection
6. Trimming and finishing

Shell Molding

Shell molding, also known as shell-mold casting. It is an expendable mold casting process that uses resin covered sand to form the mould .Shell mould casting allows the use of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, most commonly using cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloys, and copper alloys. Typical parts are small-to-medium in size and require high accuracy, such as gear housings, cylinder heads, connecting rods, and lever arms. For any kind of shell molding, Metalix Industries is the best name one can suggest. Shell mold casting requires the use of a metal pattern, oven, sand-resin mixture, dump box, and molten metal.

Process for pressure die casting
1. Mold preparation
2. Metal melting
3. Metal injection
4. Solidification
5. Mold opening and ejection
6. Trimming and finishing

Powder Metal

Powder metallurgy is a term covering a wide range of ways in which materials or components are made from metal powders. processes are sometimes used to reduce or eliminate the need for subtractive processes in manufacturing, lowering material losses and reducing the cost of the final product.

Process for powder metal
1. Powder protection
2. Powder blending
3. Compaction
4. Sintering
5. Secondary operations

Forging

Forging is a manufacturing process involving the shaping of metal using localized compressive forces. The blows are delivered with a hammer (often a power hammer) or a die. Forging is often classified according to the temperature at which it is performed: cold forging (a type of cold working), warm forging, or hot forging (a type of hot working). For the latter two, the metal is heated, usually in a forge. Forged parts can range in weight from less than a kilogram to hundreds of metric tons.

Process
1. Metal preparation
2.Forging operation
3. Trimming and finishing
